Let's start with a picture so that people that don't know you can see what you look like ;) And ignore me as I look extremely uncomfortable.
So as I mentioned in my latest post, this weekend was all about Homecoming. I just wanna explain first that, which I don't think that I have mentioned anywhere before, our campus is a dry campus. So it's not allowed to have or consume alcohol anywhere on campus - fun right? So all the official activities related to homecoming was without any alcohol...so we only partied during the weekend and the weekdays was just as usual. So I have nothing interesting to say about the activities that went on without alcohol.
So Saturday was when the partying started for us, on friday we just played "fancy and conservative Swedes" as Keya would have described it. We went out for dinner at a place with real steaks and great red wine in our overdressed outfits and had stiff Swedish conversations. Right Keya? Hehe.
Anyway...On Saturday the day started with the Homecoming parade which I can describe as candy rain, free stuff and people waving - it was awesome. After that we went to the Homecoming football game, kind of boring - probably because I don't understand the game. But at least it's amusing to watch people which made us stay until halftime at least. We then started the pregame at 4pm at Ethans townhouse (sausage fest), moved on to a fraternity (sigma chi?) and then downtown - long story short. FUN FUN.
I made a video for you to watch, makes it more alive haha and I'll throw in some pictures below as well!
The sigma chi (the guy pointing is telling the guy to "give it to the swedes")
So the police cars here are a biiiiit different from home #authority
Anton with some merchandise, we love merchandise.
Swedish pregame behind a tree
This is Ethan - been drunk for three days
